Robert is the proud small business owner of Excel Diagnostic. Established in 2018, Excel Diagnostic provides quality and cost effective servicing and efficient diagnostic services, for customers in the Brisbane Northside area.
Robert prides himself in having a strong technical working knowledge of motor vehicles, along with an honest, friendly and trustworthy personality.
He grew up and attended schools in the 4017 area. He maintained strong ties with the community and his affection for it led him to settling in Brighton with his young family.
Robert commenced his automotive mechanical apprenticeship with Byrne Ford, Chermside in 1996 where he remained for six years.
He then transferred to Grand Prix Mazda, Aspley. During his employment with Mazda, his greatest achievement was winning the 2006 state and national MazTech competition. Robert then went on to compete in the prestigious Global MazTech Competition in Hiroshima, Japan where he placed fourth.
He has undertaken extensive training including:
- Certificate III in Automotive Engineering Motor Mechanics (Light Vehicles)
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology
Robert has also recently invested in partnerships with Diesel Help Australia, The Automotive Technician (TaT), Haynes Manuals and Autodata in order to keep himself up to date with the latest in technology. These affiliations will allow him to diagnose car issues quicker and more efficently, getting you back on the road even sooner.
